Dreams of encouragement from God

Dreamed July 23rd 2003
I dreamed I worked at a laboratory in beautiful country. I lived close to this very blue calm ocean. I lived in a green valley, filled with manicured lawns and wide sidewalks. The entire valley was surrounded by towering ice covered mountains nobody ever went beyond. I became interested in this guy. We would walk along the sea shore at sunset and see the most spectacular orange sunset ever seen. I tried to go skiing with him on the glacier covering one of the mountains but I kept falling on the ice. Eventually this guy and me were married & I was content. Suddenly, God interrupted my dream. HE was going to fly me over the mountains to another place and I would be so fulfilled I would never desire for anything, and I never would leave this place. At first I wept because I would be leaving but I realized I never was really content but just got used to believing there was nothing more satisfying. HE told me HE raised me up for a great purpose HE determined for me before creating me. I saw everything from a completely different perspective, all the worldly concerns was no more significant than a single grain of sand. GOD said my journey to this place was to begin NOW.

Dreamed June 29th 2003
I dreamed an old man visited a young man who only God saw as having potential. He was lazy and had low self-esteem. The old man was actually an angel from God (unknown to the young man) and he encouraged the young man and taught him well enough the young man became a man with a brave heart, full of courage, and ready to carry out God's great commands. The angel was outside one day and he shouted, "Look out! The dead in Christ will rise first!" Just when the guy was ready to really act Christ had come, I thought. I saw what was like a white liquid like vapor comming out of the ground and the sea. Further above the ground they clearly became people in white robes. The people were beautiful and were smiling as the floated up to the sky. Their bodies were transparent for the bodies were perfect spirit bodies asscending to Heaven.

10/26/2003, I dreamed God showed the whole event written in the Bible where Elijah challenges the followers of Baal where they both built alters. I saw the whole thing. The sky was heavy with gray rain clouds. There was a bull sliced up on each alter and there was a trench dug around Elijah's alter and I watched the Baal followers pour huge barrels full of water on Elijah's sacrifice. I saw Elijah mocking the Baal followers, telling them maybe if they cut themselves and yell louder, maybe Baal would hear them. Then Elijah called fire down from the sky, it was like a river of flame coming down, and it was so intense, the water vaporized before it could boil, and the fire consumed Elijah's sacrifice and those followers of Baal that stood around his alter watching were burned up! Somehow I knew I was being told that in the future I could do the same thing as Elijah did. Not only did I feel shocked and was finding this very difficult to believe (in the dream) I did not consider myself that kind of 'fire and brimstone' kind of preacher but consider myself a quiet, reclusive, very reserved Christian. I have a faint memory that in the dream last night, I felt like I was going to be called by God to stand up and argue for God against people who denied His very existence, and preach to them alone in a loud, loud, yelling kind of way, and by doing so defend the very freedom of religion against those seeking to outlaw it.

I have many many dreams of encouragement. I also still have others to post. About enough to fill a novel.

Awesome dreams! Thanks for sharing. I wonder what the white liquid like vapor was just before the saints came out of the graves... that's interesting.
