I'm on the fence with this one. The workers may like it better than the normal uniform, but will the customer recognize the workers unless they're behind the counter? Although, I'll admit that a tie on a manager is a great way to let customers know who the managers are. Okay, I approve.
Fast food is casual and baseball caps are better than hairnets.

Those "new" uniforms look like what we wore when I did a stint at the place 25 years ago. Polo shirts or casual button down short sleeves and pants... the uniforms that are "before" I haven't seen anything like that in the US for a long time. Polo shirts and work pants seem to be the norm at most fast food places.

No one should be telling you who you should love, no one should be telling you who you should be spending the rest of your life with.
When we start talking about equality and everyone being treated equally I don't want to to know an African-American who will say everybody doesn't deserve equality
