I need your prayers desperately

Hi all, I'm new around here. I've been lurking for about a month but decided to join today.

I need prayers desperately. First, to mend a severely broken heart, and secondly to strengthen my Christian faith.

I was with a "Christian" man for 5 years, the last 3 months he decided to make jokes at my expense, making fun of my looks and intelligence. Last thing he said was that I looked like a zombie out of a horror flick when I had a bad case of acne. It hurt so much, but apparently these are jokes to him. Anyways, I finally had enough of it and we broke up about a week ago. He has turned some of our mutual friends against me by saying I'm too sensitive and stuff like that. Since then things have been extremely turbulent for me, my emotions ranging from extreme anger to extreme despair. We spent almost all of our free time together, so this is a major adjustment for me as well.


I've been finding myself getting angry with God, even though I know deep down it is not His fault, but I feel, at times, that He has forgotten about me. The anger I mostly feel is directed at myself, I honestly sometimes feel as if I'm a failure but other times I do not feel like that, so I blame God for letting me feel that way. I know my thoughts are WRONG, that's why I also need prayers for this please.

I can say from experience. I know you might be hurting, but it's not God. God didn't make him say those hurtful things to you. If he truly was devoted to Christ he would have never done that. I was abused by my step father, a so called "Christian man" he used it as a cover. I too long blamed God for the things he did to me. It took a long time to realize that it wasn't his fault. I'm so sorry that you were with a man that wasted so much precious time. God is there for you, and while it hurts now it'll get better. I'll be praying for you. I know it may not seem like much coming from a stranger, but I know what it's like to deal with hurt and pain and I really feel for you.

Hi sweetie, who cares what this ex-boyfriend of yours says about you to your friends? From what you told us about the cracks he made regarding your looks and intelligence... you're fortunate to be rid of him! You don't need to endure abuse, no one deserves that. I realize you're angry at God... yet, if you go to Jesus and let him know how upset you are, which He knows already, He will welcome you with loving arms. Let Jesus permeate your being, allow Him to soothe those hurts, and love you in a way that no other man, creepy or otherwise, is capable of doing. Never allow a man treat you badly. When it comes to times like this, Jesus is all you need. And He will, if it is His will, bring the right man into your life. God bless you! Praying...
