Reps: 10 (power: 0) | | | Help me in any way please A co worker/ friend recommended I surround my life with christian support. I don't have many christian friends present in my daily life. I love Jesus and completely believe that He is my Lord and savior. I started my faith when I was younger and had a good relationship with Him. Since I have fallen away from Him, I have lived a life that is flirting with trouble with the law and now more importantly might get me sent to hell. I don't want this part of my life that has overwhelmed me. I blame nobody but myself but wonder if the abuse I was exposed to as a child has any involvement in what I feel like is now a demon in my spirit. Its hard for me to imagine the desire that I have to sin in this fashion will leave my spirit. Praying, reading, and just being discipline seems like it should be simple to do. But when this feeling overwhelms me, I don't feel like me. I need help. |

You can follow the Lord again, it's never too late. Jesus longs to heal your hurts. Praying for you. Praying that you will resisit the temptation to get into trouble with the law, praying you will find that Jesus is the best way and that His ways are the best ways.

We Christians have two natures. One we were born with, adn that nature we call 'the sinful nature'. But there is another nature which is given to us as a consequence of our accepting Christ, and this nature is called 'the fruit of the Spirit'. Paul describes both of these natures in this passage: So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law. The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other. (Galatians 5:16-26,NIV)
The acts of the sinful nature are the desires and motivations which are the origin of every sinful act ever committed. They are also at the very core of our original, sinful nature, so their being subdued is beyond our power. But it is not beyond God's own power, and he is quick and willing to use this power in order to conquer it.
But it doesn't end there. He is also willing and able to implant in us a new nature, which we call 'the fruit of the Spirit'. And just as 'the acts of the sinful nature' are to be seen as the impetus for every sinful act committed, 'the fruit of the Spirit' is to be seen as the impetus for every righteous act performed. These 'fruit' are the borders within which all our words and actions have assurance of being 'in synch' with God's will. There is no need to fear his wrath, because by permitting the fruit of the Spirit to be the origin of everything that we say and do, those words and actions will be in accordance with what God himself wants of us.
We all have a spiritual Achilles' heel, a particular weakness that affects us more than other motivations might. What we need to recognize is that this weakness is only part of a set of motivations which are our old nature, and that entire set is what the Spirit is capable of reining in for us. So we put our trust in his power and strength, while accepting the new nature that he has brought with him as the impetus of every word and action that we will say and do from this time forward.
God bless- |

The only thing that will get you sent to 'hell'; permanent death/separation from God/Jesus/life, is to purposely reject the calling of grace given to you by God through Christ; i.e. what is known as the 'unforgivable, or, 'unpardonable', sin. You may go to prison for a crime, but you are still under grace if you continue in faith and belief.
You have a lifetime to repent. There is no 'probation' period, but you must be resisting sin, not embracing it. Paul was incredulous that some did this. He said, "Whaaaaaat? Shall we sin so grace can abound? God forbid ( hell no).
God may not pull you out of a sinful life as quickly as you desire. If you are deeply entangled in it you may have to come out gradually, like pulling someone out of thick quicksand; too fast may injure them. If you make it to middle age and older with your faith (and all yer fingers and toes) intact you may find, as I did, the God removes the desire to sin, leaving a wonderful peace in its place.
Best to you, brother.

As for your sin issue God can cleanse you from all sin. The Holy Spirit has power and is willing to help you. The word of God says "Resist the Devil and he will flee from you". You need a lifestyle of resistance, not giving up easily. Don't worry about feelings and thoughts that the devil is in your spirit that is a common thing that the devil does if we get involved in sin. He tries to convince us we have out sinned Gods grace and makes us feel feelings at times that seem like we could be possessed. The fact is the devil can mess with our flesh from time to time. You just have to learn to stand on the word of God. Which says you are forgiven, and he has no access because of that forgiveness. |

Reps: 10 (power: 0) | | | To all of you who have dealing with such hard times, and feel as though your life has no direction or guidance, I have found in the 16 years I have walked with Jesus that not only is my life 10 times better, it the thought of going to Hell, no way. I would rather be in the presence of my heavenly creator. God has done so much for me in my life, and he can do it to you to,
Acknowledge that you are a sinner(Romans 3:23)
Realize your penalty of sin is death (Romans 6:23)
Realize you can do nothing to work off your sin debt. (Titus 3:5)
Realize that Christ died for you to pay your sin debt. (2 Corinthians 5:21
Believe that Christ died, was buried, and rose from the dead (Romans 10:9)
Realize that salvation is a free gift, apart from any works that you do. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
and them Realize the moment you trust Christ, you have salvation and it can never be lost. (10:28
Pray this and mean it with all your heart: Father God, I know I am a sinner, and I know I can't do anything without your son Jesus, I receive you Christ as my personal savior for helping me daily . Come into my heart and fill me with you Holy Spirit, and help me in my new journey with you, I ask this in the name of Jesus, Amen.
Please let me know how it all went if anyone had done this. God bless and happy 4th |

She drank only fruit juices for thee days/week for four weeks then for seven days in a row and Rabbi Jesus/Yehoshua woke her up early many morning and inspired her to pray for me.
I was 5000 miles away basking in the most astonishing level of peace/Shalom that I have ever experienced in my life so yes....hanging around with gifted people like my evangelical Christian wife can help to transform your life......
Another good idea is to buy a bottle of olive oil and pray over it in the name of Rabbi Jesus/Yehoshua, he is not worried over how you pronounce his name.......and put some on the doorposts and windows in your house....listen to Christian or inspirational music........try to choose to dwell on the positive.....and the differences that can happen in just a few days or weeks can be astonishing!!!!! |
