Can you be liberal and Christian at the same time?

My girlfriend and I differ a lot on political views. I consider myself a very liberal minded individual and believe in religious freedom, gay rights, etc.

But I am also a Christian. I do believe in Jesus and I do believe in the Bible.

Is there some sort of contradiction here? Can you be both closer to the left wing AND still a Christian?

Sure it's ok to be a liberal, I am in many areas. But remember, scripture states that the practice of homosexuality is a sin. So supporting that would be sinful. God bless.

I support the Biblical definition of marriage.

“As for me and my house we will serve the Lord." (Joshua 24:15)
