Prayer A calling

Whenever I spend time with God, I feel like a piece of me needs to be added back. It's like my lifestyle needs to be turned around. My life for the most part (not that I'm perfect) is in order to the Christian lifestyle. I love God, and I love my neighbor. I help the poor, help with Holy Communion, lead evening prayer, and I fit in wherever I can. I feel called to poverty, chastity, and a life surround by God instead of living in the secular world. However, I'm not eligible for being a nun I have debt and a mental disability. Where could I possibly fit in the church. I can be a lay person no longer.

Hello,

It is good that you are close to God. But in regards to your questions, neither of the chaplains here are of your denomination. I suggest talking to your pastor as I'm sure he will have some suggestions.

God Bless,
Sacerdote

I support the Biblical definition of marriage.
