Make sure you realize that it has nothing to do with you and
everything to do with Jesus....Stay in humility.
Remember Peter and his boasts.
Don't think that you have any ability to withstand anything but rather
thank Jesus daily for His protection over you even when you are ignorant
of all the threats that daily come against you that the Lord handles behind the scenes.
Luke 10 20 Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you,
but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven.”
Realize that all the glory, honor and praise belongs to the Lord.
2 Corinthians 10:17 (AMP) 17 However, let him who boasts and glories boast and glory in the Lord.
Just saying...keep it in the proper perspective.

Our only defense is Jesus Christ: His Cross; His Blood; His Victory. But thanks be to God, He is sufficient for any and all battles we are called upon to wage during this earthly sojoun.
Blessings and God's strength to you in the fray,

It the only spiritual offensive weapon we have again the Enemy; not muttering some statements about blood. Hide the Word in your heart and don't give the enemy the attention he wants. |

I don't always know when I'm being attacked, but I'm catching on. They change tactics too. I'm a new Christian and it is a real battle sometimes. Satan doesn't want to lose a single soul. But I believe the Holy spirit protects me whenever I need protecting. That faith makes me stronger. |

I'm just asking because I got attacked this morning, and I had no clue that it was the enemy until I told my mom about it.
But don't worry, I'm not scared of the enemy or take any interest in the enemy, I just want to know the proper way to just make the enemy flee if I ever get attacked again.
Thanks! (taking this topic too casually)
You have to understand that it's your faith in almighty God and your assurance that his promises are true that protect you... not the correct words that exit your mouth in the right combination or order.
Praying, worshiping, casting out devils... are not done like spells. There are not artifacts, runes, incantations, spells, lucky rabbits feet. It has nothing to do with what you say... it is your faith in him and his word... not your faith in your ability to do the right thing to make it leave. That's mastery of a skill... this is not a skill, The power is in God, you believe, trust and follow him.
You tell it to leave BECAUSE YOU KNOW THAT IT HAS TO BECAUSE OF GOD! not because of anything you said or the way you said it. "THE WORD OF GOD SAYS YOU HAVE TO LEAVE, SO LEAVE!" You're resting upon the word, upon God... not upon the fact that you said the right things.
Quoting scriptures, saying phrases, don't make bad things go away... you simply have to believe that what God said was true, quoting scriptures can be a form of you showing that you believe... but the point is faith. Or else your just casting spells... and that doesn't work.

So whether the right things come out of your mouth or not, you are going to overcome because he is God and you are a child of God and the devil does not have a choice. It has nothing to do with what you say. It is about faith, not faith in your technique, faith in God.
