I'm sure people have written books on the subject but that isn't what is taking place here. A bare minimum in this context would be a country has the right when it isn't murdering thousands of people abroad and it isn't the architect of its own domestic and cross border violence issues.

Can you provide which policies you're referring to?

If you're suggesting that us making drugs illegal is the cause for the border violence, I would have to disagree. Drug dealers not liking the laws of another nation doesn't justify them kidnapping foreign citizens and executing them.
