Does anyone have any thoughts on the subject of 'liberalism' and 'grace'.
I don't think they're the same thing.
What do the Christians here think? Do our non-Christian friends see any difference?

What is liberalism. never could get my head around these things.
How about one step at a time?
Otherwise it sounds too much like politics, to me at any rate.

Your are correct; they are not the same thing.
Grace - gift of salvation from God
Liberalism (liberal Christianity) - is a collective term for the adoption of post enlightment ideas within Christianity
Who thinks they are the same???

I was thinking of the Church of Scotland.
Perhaps some Christian denominations are making themselves very liberal when they should instead be exploring grace.
Some 'liberal' churches seem to be declining, where grace churches are increasing. To the untrained eye they might appear the same?
