I guess basically anything else horrible you can think of will be considered ok...it's the devils world at the moment afterall.....but Jesus will sort it all out one day. We just have to be strong and make sure we don't get drawn in to worldly things.

I have several friends who live what I consider a non Christian, immoral life, which I guess is ok for them because they aren't Christians. However, as a Christian I wonder if I should associate with them. Yet they are my friends. When they talk about the lives they live and enjoy, I just sit and make no comment, or say something like...well, if that's what makes you happy, that's fine. When I know it's not fine at all. But then in the past I've lived an immoral life too, and my friends stuck by me. Should we totally shun and stop our friendships with people who we believe are living sinful lives?

Like the apostle says we would have to leave the world to avoid immoral people, it's fake Christians - those who have been shown how they are sinning against God but continue to make excuses - that we are to avoid.

Yes, I'm enjoying the chill of winter so far and looking forward to more of it, and lots more rain.

Oh yes, my friends know I'm a Christian, in fact just about everyone I know is non Christian, but they just live their lives as they want to and have their own moral code, which isn't the same as mine.

I guess i pretty much agree with the article, polygamous marriages may be next. It's not like it's inherently harmful or even against most religions.

I doubt it will be a quick rights movement due to our current legal systems being built around two people entering marriages.
But i'm sure something would be worked out for those who do wish to marry multiple partners.

I don't think marriage rights issues could reasonably go much further than that mind you.

Not sure why he added the last paragraph; seems a little out of place and not particularly well thought out. Basically saying "This guy said this might happen".

I do think, like most things in the media this is a lot of hype...anything is called news these days. I think people will go on doing what they've always done....and everyone will have an opinion about it's.... rightness or wrongness...if that's the correct terms. I certainly wouldn't want another woman in my marriage, I'd rip her eyes out and my husbands too, and probably leave him to her. I'm a very jealous person and couldn't live in a situation like that.

I think you're definitely wrong about it being the devil's world. It is not his world at all. I think you are forgetting something. Just like a dog has a master which is a man, so the devil has a master (even though he has rebelled) who just happens to be God.
