Creation & EvolutionForum for the discussion of this important topic. This forum is open to non-believers. There is a Christians-only forum in the Christians-only section too.
I can't speak for others, but most creationists I know are truth seekers.
Funny how my experience is exactly the opposite. All I get from creationists are lies and misinterpretations of evolution.

Then why would they use material from creationist sources that distort the truth?

That's because creationists talk about biblical "Truth" which means it is true if it agrees with the bible. They are not looking for what is true in reality.

There is a difference in not looking for truth in reality and deliberately distorting that reality.
I can cite lie after lie that professional creationists like Ray Comfort have used to support creationism. We can show how creationist arguments rely on logical fallacy after logical fallacy. Truth seekers? I'm sorry, but that is not what I see at all. I see just the opposite, and I can back it up with evidence.
That's fine by me. My logical fallacies are the only ones
I can speak for though. I'm quite interested in how other
Creationists gather their facts and draw their conclusions.
Noting the ones that do it wrong seems a waste of my time.
But if that's the thing that floats your boat, I wish you well.

Because you can't list any. When you can, my claim will change.
That's an argument of ignorance, doesn't help you at all.
Edit: Perhaps I should point out that the default position is way better if you want to use that argument, the default position is that it may or may not exist extraterrestrial life.

I'm studying math and I've gone from
"I know a lot of math and know there's a lot left"
to
"I need to learn this, this and this. That thing would probably be useful as well and I know I need to re-learn these things as I didn't understand them the first time."
And I wouldn't have it any other way (except that it would be nice to get paid).

My, a thread clean up was done. Folks, you need to stay on topic, which is in the OP.
Also, remember this IS a Christian site. The site rules include:
● Those who do not adhere to the Statement of Faith are welcome as members and participants in discussions, but you are required to respect these beliefs, even if you do not share them.
Let's keep it civil.

I'm sure selective memory plays a role. Be sure to point out all my lies and misrepresentations. I learn from my gaffs in time.
I've done it many times, but you seem to have already forgotten. I would quote you, but I am too lazy to look for them.
