Right now I only have my two dogs (pitbull, corgi mix), two outside cats, and a leopard gecko.
At one point, I had two adult female cats, one who had kittens giving us an additional 9 to the family. And also a German Shepperd who died a few years ago.
I also at one point had three or four snakes, two mice, several rats, an alligator snapping turtle, and would be baby alligators if the eggs I had attempted to save made it.
Out of all of my pets my favorite were my rats.
Ducky was black rat who was supposed to be snake food, but ended up becoming my best friend and my favorite rat.
Spike was a FAT black and white rat who was kinda mean.
Andy was a brown rat who was terrible.. so I gave him away. (They weren't kidding when they said brown rats had a temper!)
One of my rats is brown, she's ok, she just doesn't like to be held at all.
I'm pretty sure her love for me is all about how she knows where the food comes from ha ha.

Haha usually typical of some pets I think I read somewhere that male rats are better companions then females because they like more attention. Or it's the other way around.. Either way I had all males and I had a great bond with them Lol
I have a beautiful cat whom I absolutely adore. His name is Eddie and is turning 4 years old this year. He is black with the white paws, white diamond shapped down the front and white under his chin. He is adorable and at this moment fast asleep on the bed next to me. Recently when going through a difficult time Eddie was unusually more attentive and slept alot close up near me. I really believe animals can feel our pain.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8
