Who honestly thinks....

that Marilyn Manson is an evil person? And why?

Could you define your version of what evil is?

It is a tremendously subjective word (in the worldly sense).
i think it could focus this thread if you give your criteria for "evil".

Anyway my definition of evil is someone that rapes and or kills someone in real life. Therefore from what I know Marilyn Manson does not do that so I don't think he is evil.

I understand your answer. IMO, Manson's "persona" is nothing but commercial. I bet when away from entertaining he's probably an average, cool guy. With faults and positives like the rest of us.

Your definition of evil is something completely different from what I would consider evil, and calling someone evil for killing another human being is not really a good argument. Personally there are no people that I would consider evil. People experience something evil and it isn't exclusive to the victim. Usually rapists have inherited something really bad from their folks or living conditions at an early age. I would say they understand the concept of rape, they understand that it's wrong in our society, but there is something that defies their sense of the act. That to me is the evil.

you know what, I have to agree with you on one thing. I was too general saying that a killer is evil. I do in fact know someone who is evil though. So I have to disagree with you on the part where you were saying that there are no evil people. I know this girl who has had a pretty rough past. She grew up with her mom having sexual encounters in front of her, using drugs in front of her, verbally abusing her. And how did she grow up? Using people, abusing people, beating up her own mom, started sleeping with boys from the age of 12 and on, etc. And what is she today, at the age of 30? She is the same thing she was as a teenager and young adult but only now she calls herself a "christian". She uses anyone and everyone she comes in contact with for money, sex, etc. She even uses her church goers as well. She beats up her husband, kids, and mom, She cheated on her husband before, She steals from people. I don't think I need to go on with that. The point I am trying to make is that in my eyes that is extremely evil. If I were a Christian I would think that Satan, Lucifer, The Devil, whatever you want to call him is using her as a puppet per say to do his dirty work for him. I don't know if that makes any sense to you but That is my honest opinion on this whole situation. Anyway I am done for now with my little rant.

I know people in church who call themselves Christian and are 10x more evil than Manson ever will be.

I would say that politicians (in general) are evil.

And that's exactly why I don't think people are truly evil.

Bob the cat is evil. Poor bird. Give him regular meals and keep him inside!
