I have an agreement with the forum administration that I can participate on questions of the meaning of Hebrew (and Greek) language as it applies to discussions, but that I cannot give textual interpretation or my perspectives. I understand my agreement, but it seems that this poster doesn't understand the rules of the forum in the slightest. We've all told him. I think it should be clear. |

This thread is being derailed. Let's get this thread back on topic and quit arguing about the rules. Let's do it now before more stringent action is taken. Those responsible have received pm's from me. If you have not received a pm from me then this Mod Hat is not directed to you. I don't want to close the thread. But I will if the arguing continues and the people involved will also be subject to subject to additional communication from our Admins. So back on topic please. Thank you. Chaplain Hat Off

Ps I did write you about the Temple etc, but you leap-frogged my post.

Thank you for your previous post - I have read it and intend to read it again and perhaps ask you questions on it - if you are inclined to answer.
Thank you also for the friendly advice - I really think this issue is being painted by some as a "Nekoda vs Messianics" - but as I have repeatedly pointed out - the understanding given by one Messianic doesn't reflect the SOP - nor can this one Messianic claim to speak for all MJ's on this forum and then use that opinion as an accusation against any who have a different understanding.
I don't think I'm alone in thinking that this is a form of theological bullying based on an assumption of unity. |

And you're probably right about the Ezekiel temple - It could very easily be the Heavenly that will come down, but then again, maybe not. It could be an enlargement of what is built first on the temple mount So many possiblilities.
But in the millennium there will be sacrifices, per Zech. 14, and per Ezekiel's temple (whether that is the one that the Jews build or it's the heavenly come down) - again, it would be unimaginable that whatever temple is built upon the temple mount by the Jews that there will not be sacrifices re-instituted.
Hi bro...you misunderstand.
I was indicating that everything is poised and ready for the set up of the third Temple, most of the garments have been made, utensils, bowls, plates...even the red Heifer has been bred (Texas I think). So I presume it will be built soon, even in our life-time.
I think the whole of the Temple Mount will have to be cleared and cleansed...which means getting rid of all temples to false gods...although I have heard and seen plans for joint ownership, and a Temple built along-side the Mosque of Omar...( I don't really think this would be acceptable).
I don't think Ezekiels Temple equates with the Heavenly Temple because there is no Temple in Heavenly Jerusalem Rev 21:22 I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. So the millenial Temple has to be the one Ezekiel mentions, and to my mind this will be the 4th Temple...and as I indicated before, the 3rd Temple will be the one that is a fleshly attempt that will revert to Old Covenant principles and seek to present a form of rabbinic Judaism that denies Messiah while still hoping for Messiah...if you catch my drift.
I don't know how YHWH or YHVH will be pronounced...again this can only boil down to theological speculation as far as I can see. I think G-d is more concerned in obedience than saying His name properly.

I am always happy to answer anything as best I can...but remember I do not have 100% conviction on what might prove to be inspired speculation..and sometimes like Mary, we have to hold things in our heart, or place them on the back-burner until we get further light on things.
As for what can or can't be said in these Forums, I just go with the flow and cut my cloth accordingly, I have a hard enough time articulating my understanding without trying to do a Moderators job....This place is light-weight compared to OBOB..if you have the vaguest scent of a non-Catholic about you, and present anything that reeks of Protestantism, you will have the dogs set upon you. Saying that I am there at the moment and learning from my Catholic brethren...but cautiously.
All the best. Zazal

Ah - so this is the place I go to should I decide to commit CF suicide. Originally Posted by Zazal
