Please Pray for Georgia woman with flesh-eating disease in "critical" condition
A Georgia woman fighting a flesh-eating bacterial infection was in critical condition at Augusta Hospital on Saturday, a hospital spokeswoman said.
The spokeswoman said she could not comment on whether Aimee Copeland had undergone surgery to remove her hands and right foot, amputations that Copeland's father had said were pending on Friday. Surgeons had amputated the 24-year-old's left leg at the hip.
Prayers and messages of support have poured in for Copeland on a Facebook page where her father, Andy Copeland, has chronicled her struggle.

Father God Aimee is a blessing and a remarkable young lady. I pray that You will put a stop to anymore assault on Aimee's body. Put a stop to the bacteria and may it not claim anymore of her organs or limbs, Grant her healing in mind, body and spirit, and may she be given strength for the future for all that she will go through and all the challanges she will be faced with.
