I'm new to this website but I'm an avid writer and blogger with heart for the hurting women in the church. I wrote a blog today about the pain that this day can bring and invite you to come over and read it! I pray that you find comfort in knowing you're not alone!

Here's an excerpt, but PLEASE know that this blog has a very uplifting and encouraging ending!!!!
"As is the usual practice, with many churches, at some point during the service they will have all of the mothers stand up to be recognized and the congregation will give a round of applause. As the women started standing, one by one, around the large sanctuary I tried with all of my might to squelch the crying that was rising from my heart. Jaw clenched and my breath escaping in small gasps my heart was torn from my chest. The pain of my miscarriage was still just a raw as the week that it happened."
I am so sorry for your loss. Mother's Day was hard for me too this year. I never had children and have lost my mother so both of those things made me sad. To be honest I am glad that day is over.
