I mean to sing to my God as long as I live (Ps.146:2)

Perhaps we can share some of our favourite hymns , or hymns which have a special significance for us .

These are hymns sung at my dad's Funeral Mass in 1994 , chosen by by mum and myself .

Enjoy them and hopefully be inspired by them .

How Great Thou Art

Soul Of My Saviour

One of my fav is Come Holy Spirit. I sang it into a voice recording machine when my grandmother died so that others can hear it too. Hmm a bit goofy but that's me.

One of my favourites; they are sung so beautifully by the good nuns that sing it.

Enjoy.

Let My Prayer Arise from the Orthodox Presanctified Liturgy, which was composed by Pope St. Gregory the Great, whom we commemorate.

An excellent hymn and good to reflect upon when preparing for the Sacrament of Reconciliation .

This is another rendition of the same hymn
