There is one very easy way to watch what your children do: Be close with your children. Be an active parent, talk to them about their daily lives and issues, have them be open and upfront with you. aka parent.
Yes, this does become more difficult (though still possible) once the child hits the teens, but if your 8 year old is being rebellious and not offering to share their lives with the parent, chances are the parent did something really wrong (like ignored the child) |
