I think it is great as long as you respect others. In other words, do not push it on co-workers/bosses, but just reading it you have the right to do that.
You can read anything on your break its your break but also at the same time people also need their break for their own time so as long as its for yourself there is nothing wrong at all ..if someone comes to you and is asking ( in a good way) then by almeans share but its best to keep it personal...We ,,however people have a right to read ANYTHING on our breaks...

Yes, I believe it is a good thing with all of my heart. I work at Wal-mart and about 90% of the time, I bring my Bible and I read it on my lunch and on my breaks; and God has opened doors of opportunity to share to them about the Gospel.
One time, someone came over to me and asks me what I am reading. I said that I am reading the Word of God. He had a few good questions for me. A few minutes later, someone came over and he had a few questions for me about the Bible as well. I had only an hour lunch, but at the end of the hour, I had 8 or 9 people around me and I was basically witnessing to them. That is one of the best times that I had in the lunch room.
YES! I bring my Bible everywhere, and try to read as much as I can. I prayed for God to give me a hunger for the Word and He did! Praise God!

Yes, motive is very important. Me personally, though, I feel having my Bible with me helps me in my day-to-day walk with Christ. I need guidance, and every time I have an issue I'm wrestling with, God directs me to Scripture I can read to help me.
I don't often get into conversation when I read, mainly because I'm focused on the Word, not the people around me. (Which is a triumph on God's part because focus is NOT one of my strong points lol)

I think its' good to read the Bible anywhere, but not really for any of the reasons in the poll. Reading the Bible for our own personal spiritual growth is always appropriate! I do think that one positive outcome is that people may be drawn and conversations develop that lead to the salvation or growth of others.... but if that is the driving reason, then I don't know - maybe something is wrong. Maybe we want to be seen by others as pious.

I second that. Reading the bible should be used as a way for you to grow spiritually. If lunch is the best time for you to do that, you should not worry about offending others. How much different would the life of Jesus had been if he was worried about offending others!
But be prepared for questions that coworkers may ask you because they see you reading a bible
"But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect" - 1 Peter 3:15
What do you think of reading your bible on your break or lunch break at work do you think it is a good thing why?
Only if its for the sake of reading the bible - I wouldn't want to do it in order to "witness" to someone. Its kind sly doing that - and not in a good way.
