Hi again. Glad you enjoyed my story. I took it as a sign to check on you! The story of the kookaburra is so caring. Who knew they had so much compassion and desire to help the sick. Amazing. Thanks again. Love your stories. I have lost posts too when I take just a little too long so it signs out on me and says to refresh and sign in again. What I learned when I see that message is to copy, refresh, resign in and paste. It has worked without having to save it somewhere else before re logging on. Catherene is right, although accomplishing chores sometimes does feel like therapy. Hope you spend your time doing whatever brings you peace and hope to read more updates when ever you have time. Don't worry about us, just take care! ((((Hugs.........)))

Thank you cmjames84, and Habakk and the Prayer Team for your prayers, and all of you kind souls. Anthea's funeral service at the crematorium, conducted by an Anglican vicar (she was technically, at least, an Anglican), was beautiful.
Most, if not all, families seem to be broken in a number of ways, as is ours, but we all came together afterwards for a kind of wake, at the flat, and we really did celebrate Anthea's life.
We were asked by the vicar, a terrific chap, if we or anyone would be giving a eulogy, but when I thought about it, it occurred to me that to anyone who knew Anthea, it would be like gilding the lily; like trying to describe a beautiful flower to someone who's actually seen one in full bloom. What could anyone say about her angelic nature that wasn't obvious to everyone who met her? People who knew her will know it's not just the fond imaginings of a besotted husband.
So, when I feel myself getting despondent, thinking about her suffering, I laugh at the thought of how mad I am, since she's now cocooned in the love of God and his angels and saints in heaven and having the time of, well... her eternal life!

Hi Paul! I am so glad for your update. I just love your writing, especially when you describe Anthea. She sounds like a lovely person, who is now enjoying eternal life. Glory to God for the time you shared with her and for the love you two shared too!! Praying for continued peace and strength and wonderful memories to keep you company. Hope to hear from you again when you have time.
