A pattern has more than one item in it. Care to share with us the other elements of this pattern leading toward communism?

Rev 19:9-10 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God. And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. |

I am a moderate that tends to lean right of center but I agree with you. The extreme right's insistence that Obama is a evil dirty socialist/communist is ridiculous. You can dislike him all you want but there is no sense in spreading around lies and misinformation like so many like to do. |

Hi, SPB.
Help me understand then. You claim to be a right-of-center moderate. What does that mean? Seriously. Do you have any core beliefs? If so, what are they?
Thanks.

I think it's a reflection of how far the GOP has moved to the right that a centrist is now so far to their left as to be called a "socialist"!

Yeah, didn't think you'd like that ... but I do, LOL.
Exhibit 2, then: Articles: Why Is Observing Obama as a Marxist Verboten?Obama exploits the citizenry's concerted blindness, cloaking his views under veneers of "social justice," "fairness," and "progress." Unadulterated Marxism attracts few votes. In rare candor, sans teleprompter, Obama lectured Joe the Plumber that his prescription for widespread prosperity is "spreading the wealth around." Before catapulting to prominence, the president complained that thanks to constraints instituted by our Founders, "The Supreme Court never ventured into the issues of redistribution of wealth and sort of more basic issues of political and economic justice." Obama's justice ensures not that transactions are freely entered and fairly measured, but that bureaucrats enforce results fancied per the fluttering fashions of political correctness. You do realize, hopefully, that "fundamental transformation", "social justice" and "redistribution of wealth" are Marxist fundamentals?

I take a balanced practical approach to everything. I take a little from both sides of the aisle when forming my political opinions. If you would like me to explain further I would be more than happy to. |

This basically sums it up. I am not a liberal in the sense that I have an unwaivering support of unions or massive welfare programs. I do support gay marriage and tend to be pro-choice(I hate the idea of abortion but seeing as how I am not a woman I to not pretend to understand what goes in to making that decision), support the death penalty, drug testing for welfare recipients, welfare reform(make it harder to obtain and to stay on) and well I think you get the general idea. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | | | |
