• The White House or the vice president's residence.
• A building or area where any individual under Secret Service protection is visiting.
• A building or area at which a National Special Security Event (or "NSSE") is taking place
Under the existing statute, four types of activities were illegal with respect to these zones, and remain so under the new law:
• You cannot "knowingly" enter or remain in a restricted zone without lawful authority.
• You cannot "knowingly" engage in "disorderly or disruptive" conduct in or near a restricted zone. A prosecutor would have to show, however, that you intended to disrupt government business and that your conduct actually did cause a disruption.
• You cannot "knowingly" block the entrance or exit of one of these restricted zones. Again, however, the prosecutor would have to show that you did so with the intent to disrupt government business.
• Finally, you cannot "knowingly" engage in an act of physical violence against person or property in one of these restricted zones.
Seems like a busted fishing trip. We certainly want to keep out president safe, dont you think? Better luck next time Paxton. |

Sad but true. Unfortuantley, when people don't have actual ideas about how to make our country better, they revert to these tactics. They're going to have to actually come with some real policies and plans to win this election. Distracting people with conspiracy theories and fabrications isn't going to get the job done. |

You mean "real plans" like bankrupting the country by having absolutely no concept of how to reduce the deficit or balance the budget? You see, that's Obama's thorn. He hasn't got a clue. All he knows is spend, spend, spend, thinking that social programs and giveaways are going to win him another term. The American people are smarter than that. They've seen the House pass four budget bills, all of which balanced the budget and zeroed out the debt, and they've seen the do-nothing Democratic-controlled Senate do, as their nickname implies, "nothing." (Good grief, man, they won't even pass their own party leader's budget!) They've seen the war on oil, which is the only commodity we have in abundance other than coal to run our homes, offices, churches, industries; the war on the "rich" the top 10% of whom are actually paying over 70% of the revenue the treasury collects already; they've seen the lack of care or concern that both Social Security and Medicare are going to go bankrupt in less than 20 years; and most of all they've seen Obama posture, complain, speechify and then do nothing.
Four more years? Ha! Eight more months and we're rid of this Empty Suit! (To borrow WBS's term) |

You should just offer your President, Mr. Obama, a humble thank you for saving this nation from ruin. If you want to defend the same people and the same policies that got us into this mess, that's you're right. Vote for who you like of course, but at least show some appreciation, for the least of us, who were saved by his bold and courageous actions, in our time of crisis.
As for winning the election. I've got two words to sum up the republican defeat in November...."Mitt Romney". .
Good luck!
