Immigration in Europe

There is a lot of passion in Europe about Immigration. The far right FN in France for example picked up a lot of votes this time round in the French election. The Breivik incident in Norway illustrated the passions of the far right on this issue many of whom consider the solution to lie outside the democratic process. Recently a far right network, that has been murdering people in Germany, has been exposed.

Speaking as an immigrant (currently unemployed) in Germany I am aware that most Germans do not have a problem with me, as I have worked here for years and I am white from a country which they regard on equal terms. But I have Christian friends from black countries whose presence they clearly resent. More than these there is a particular dislike of Muslim immigrants.

So it seems that there is a hierarchy of immigrants and it is not necessarily based on their economic worth. As I said I would be in a lower position on this economic hierarchy than a Muslim with a job in this country right now but people have a problem with the Muslim immigrant rather than me.

Various solutions have been proposed by the far right to the problem of immigration and outside pressures on the culture and job market. Which do you consider to be most realistic in the circumstances:

1) Holocaust - mass extermination of Muslims
2) Expulsion of Muslims and of unemployed immigrants from all other backgrounds
3) Expulsion only of Muslims and other false religions
4) Restrictions on all immigration
5) Restriction only on Muslim immigration
6) Selective restrictions on groups of immigrants accompanied by a more proactive approach to breaking up ghettos inside the country and educational efforts at integration.
7) No restrictions on immigration but a more proactive approach to breaking up ghettos inside the country and educational efforts at integration.
8) Open policy- no restrictions

Which option do you think will work best and why?

Christian and marital motives more than economic ones.

I've seen reports that within a hundred years from now European white people will just about be extinct because of so much immigration to Europe. That is what statistics show us. Is that what this is all about?

Religious people are breeding and nonreligious are not. So most likely we will see an increasingly religious Europe in a generation or two. The conflict will then be predominantly between Christianity and Islam rather than also atheism (many of whom will die childless or see their children convert to reliigous belief- LOL). Europeans are mongrel lot anyway and while I would love to say I was a Hebrew by ancestry that is extremely doubtful and contradicts the DNA evidence across most of Europe.

The European Christian Nations are wild grafted branched onto the root of Israel. I think that there may be more than twenty times in the Bible where it tells us that the Gentiles/Europeans will see Christ's light and follow it. Christianity is not about DNA. But the Christian Millennium has begun in the European Christian Nations.

But I was just wondering "why are so many Europeans today concerned with immigration?"

The Apostle Paul told us clearly that the European Gentiles were as "wild branches grafted onto the root of Israel." If we are European I don't think that we should wish we were other, according to Paul each human being should strictly remain what he is, "but in Christ."

Since we are speaking on Christian Forums, does it matter to you if Europe now becomes half Islamic? Or would you not care, to each his own? Before about 1967 all the European countries were considered Christian Nations and used the Bible in their law courts exclusively.

Since Islam is today spreading to Europe, but Christianity is not spreading in this same major way into Islamic countries, does it matter? Are we European Christians just supposed to remain unopposed and let our grandparents society and culture be overrun or extinguished? Are Christians supposed to be passive and just accept whatever is happening? These are immediate questions for ethically concerned Christians.

From a global Christian perspective immigration gives opportunities to witness to people from countries closed to the gospel. In many ways the church has never been stronger in Europe as it is no longer merely a cultural association but a real commitment for those actually in the church on Sundays. But Islam and atheism are the key challenges of the moment. Atheists will eventually die out but Islam is a more enduring challenge.

Methinks i sense the journalistic style of evasion. Oh, I guess this question will never be answered. Ah, those Europeans, and I don't mean the immigants and their descendants. They never seem to be satisfied. First for 500 years they took over the world. And now there're complaining that their culture and indeed their race is quickly being dissapeared. Complain complain complain. Like the name of this thread, Immigration in Europe. But nobody will address it will they?

I think this situation is going to end badly....as in "Balkan in the 90s".....and I'm not sure we're not past the point where something can yet be done.
