My family didn't want me marrying my husband anyway (they wanted to arrange a marriage for me.) We were both eventually thrown out of our homes because we wouldn't break up. We lost it in a hotel room a few nights after we had become homeless. We had already agreed that we were not splitting up, and that we would get legally married as soon as we could do so (license + civil ceremony cost $160, and we had been in the hotel because some kind person pulled us off the street that night.) We were married a week and a half later.

Nope.
As I said, I was a Good Guy and never (well, rarely) pressed women for sex.
What I'm talking about is these creeps that "ruin it" for us Real Men...
The women get burned on guys like that and won't take chances with others.
My best friend's wife once tried to set me up with a blind date in my early 20s.
Arrived that eve. and she said,
"...no, she got burned before and doesn't want to take a chance..."
The woman in that story I posted, I hope she learned her lesson and stopping going for the wrong type of guy...
