And this is somehow different from the rest of the planet how?

You act as if Obama was to be different from all the other Plutocrats?

Anyone who believes that is naive.

But anyone who believes the US is a democracy is also naive.

Maybe when Obama accused Romney of 'waging a war on women' he was just projecting.

Ah, so by putting Obama's name in the title, we are to assume that it's his fault, right?

Republicans. More desperate by the minute.

This!
If men are making more than women, in the same positions, experience, and qualification, they should be called on it big time. Wrong is wrong, but that article does not bring home the evidence goods.

No one person should be blamed. Because we can just as easily ask why didn't Bush change this policy, since he had eight years to do so. We can do the same with Clinton, Bush Sr., Regan, etc. To start the blame with Obama is a pathetic grasping at straws.

So because others had failed to act on something, you shouldn't hold the current President accountable for also ignoring it?

Singling out one specific president responsible for something every other president in history hasn't acted on, is stupid. This is just a sad, disingenous attempt to scrap some complaint against the guy who's not in your party. If you were a cop, you'd probably single him out of a crowd and taser him for jay-walking.
