One of my favorite blogs has a thing called "Cosmocking" (Google it, it's a kink/sex blog so I don't dare post the link here). It gives me the warmest of warm fuzzies. |

It's dreck, for reasons much worse than being about private stuff. It's straight-up unethical.

This, for realsies. Discussing sex is fine in my book. Handing out terrible sex advice (Wrap belts around his thighs to increase the bloodflow to his junk? Really, Cosmo?), reinforcing gender stereotypes, and pushing the idea that a healthy relationship involves sending and receiving subtle signals and reading way more into stupid meaningless crap than anyone ever should instead of, you know, communicating like adults is what Cosmo does, and for that reason it is a steaming pile of manure that shouldn't be read by anyone except for the purpose of mocking it. |

Not to mention "teehee, I committed an abusive felony! I was naughty! Aren't I the cutest?" up against, "well, somebody committed an abusive felony against me...it was totally my fault for being female in public. Putting up with that is just part of being a woman."

It might be better just to assume that I'm just a creepy troll but it is still a premature judgement that warrants room for error. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | | | |
