I didn't use it. The weight argument is the argument over exactly how much each one weighed compared to height. What I was referring to is that Zimmerman was clearly bigger than Martin AND ARMED, while Martin was smaller (bulk wise) and unarmed.
Armed vs Unarmed is a Fact we have.
That Zimmerman was "Clearly Bigger" isn't a Fact that we have, an current media reports put the Weight difference at 10 Lbs.
And also puts Zimmerman as the Shorter person (Some would say Smaller)
Why is this case even important? Recently, Chicago gangs shot about 50 random people in one weekend. Random. No reason. Just shooting. "Do not feed the trolls, or the racial arsonists".
Because it allows certain individuals to:
A) Prove how "enlightened" they are and feel good about themselves at no personal cost.
B) Push a political agenda.
C) Feel important.
D) Feed their bloodlust or hatred without shame.
E) Follow the leader.
Pick and choose.

What I recall is he was distinctly advised by the Police over the phone not to follow Martin. He went a step further, he confronted Martin. This tells me he won't listen to Police. He also has priors with the Police including domestic violence, sounds like someone with anger management issues.
A 240 pound armed man needed to use his gun to defend himself from a skinny 17 year old unarmed kid?
Don't you mean and overweight asthmatic needed a gun who defend himself against a football player who had about 5 inches on him.

This case is important because it will help to establish the line between self-defense and vigilantism.
We already have that. This case doesn't add anything, since it's the case of a teenager attacking a volunteer watch, smashing his head into the cement, and then getting shot. That's self defense. Not vigilanteism. So I don't think it's noteworthy.

Well, for one thing it needs to actually be determined if that's what happened, and there's no sufficient evidence without reasonable doubt to suggest such a thing.
