Before you ever took a breath Long before the world began Of all the wonders He possessed There was one more precious Of all the earth and skies above You're the one He madly loves Enough to die (Beautiful - MercyMe)
Good point, music is not what it use to be,most of it is to make a quick dollar. Music generally comes from the soul, heart, and mind. Now days just listen to some of the lyrics.
There is such a formula to top 40's music now. Beats and words that will stick in your head that's repetitive and unintelligent. What happened to lyrics that made you feel and think, artists who have a message to say instead of the only incentive in making money? Those types of music won't be able to survive the test of time.
I'm such a dork I still play all my old stuff. And some of that old music was old when I started listening to it.
My 30's Take pleasure in creation: Gardening is a real pleasure for me Get excited: Getting a new washing machine is exciting Learn from years and years of mistakes: Now I always go to the hair salon rather than DIY Lose most of the peer pressure: Self explanatory

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8
