Why Community?

I am interested in anabaptist community. Can people please watch this 2 minute film and then let me know if community is an essential part of discipleship? These people seem to think it is.

Really a nice discussion is done by you. I agree everything with you say. I know that the community is the very best policy to improve the performance of the human generation .They also discussed the many matter and finds the solution if the community is here.
Thanks for sharing the information.

The people on the video are happy they live in the community. They believe the same. This particular video does not describe the community though. Is it a village where all our like minded Christians? do they all live together on the same property? Just wondering. Thanks for sharing. God bless.

Community, in some degree, is essential to following after Jesus. The Holy Spirit so moved men to embody the Kingdom of God in community as we read in Acts 2 and 4. I believe too that God through love will draw men together so that community happens.

I would comment though that the film represents and ideal which, sadly, the community in question does not really practice. Jesus' disciples must be led by the Holy Spirit, not by fear of an overbearing and all powerful elder (or "senior pastor").
