Is there absolutely no respect for Christianity.
No respect for peoples beliefs or values.
One million Moms in the USA might have this add pulled but I know a few Christians who would say this is fine, I suspect.
Its illegal to wear a cross in some european countrys but this is fine for tv. What a wonderful world we live in.
My heart yearns for the return of Jesus. For God to set the world right again. |

I think that's already happened.

Would that make the Jesus advert acceptable? Or do you think it acceptable to mock other religions but not yours?
I don't actually see the advert as mocking Jesus. At worst it takes a poke at Christians and if you're so humourless as to not be able to laugh at yourself then perhaps you should lighten up.

Potential story lines: Red Bull gives the overweight Buddha the energy to substitute mere mental exercise (no - meditation will NOT burn off enough kilojoules) for actual physical exercise.
Red Bull lifts Muhammad's moods enough to make him call for peace and harmony among all religions for ever. |

Double standards. If one religion is able to be mocked then isn't it fair to make ALL religions fair game?
Some comedians can do it well. Why not advertisers too? |

Yes it is. You're the one who has a problem with the advert, not me. So it's your double standard, not mine. I'm perfectly happy to laugh at any religion, and I'll laugh at my own beliefs too.
You'll notice, too, that the comedian is mocking the adherants of the various religions, not their central characters.
