Yes it is. You're the one who has a problem with the advert, not me. So it's your double standard, not mine. I'm perfectly happy to laugh at any religion, and I'll laugh at my own beliefs too.
You'll notice, too, that the comedian is mocking the adherants of the various religions, not their central characters.
Laugh at your own beliefs? What are your beliefs, exactly? You're an agnostic!

I've seen worse mockeries of Christ than this Red Bull ad. It's not really so shocking for me anymore. It's just the world we live in.

I'm with the O.P. Shocking advert. It's not someone's private joke either. This is on TV.
Why is it bad?
- It mocks the power of the One whom died for us to give us forgiveness of sins.
- It uses the Lord's name in Vain, the Most High God who commands our respect.
- It makes an image of God.
If you're not a Christian, or you are one who doesn't really fear your Lord, then you probably won't think there's anything wrong with it. If you REALLY understood what it represents though, in that it makes light of (and questions the authority of) the one Whom rules this Universe and is the Creator of all things and Author of Salvation - then you might take it more seriously.
Honestly...you can make a joke about anything. Why (to you Christians who don't find it offensive) mock a central miracle in the Bible that has to do with faith. Don't you understand that this kind of mockery ATTACKS the faith that the story is meant to teach?
...and don't you understand that people are CONDEMNED TO ETERNAL HELL if they refuse the knowledge that Jesus Christ is their Savior and died for their sins? Is that a laughing matter - because it was so unfunny to Jesus that he DIED FOR IT.
...and honestly. Do you really think you can "poke fun" at the Lord of All Creation? See how many names He has? That's because He's the MOST HIGH. Your little finger that's doing the poking, doesn't even reach the ceiling of the room you're sitting in. Yet he holds the whole earth in the palm of His hand!
There's far less important things in the world, yes...and this is just a stupid advert. But on topic, for discussion - yes, this is foolish and wrong. God has a sense of humour but just like you probably wouldn't enjoy a joke made at your expense, God doesn't like jokes at HIS expense..especially when they mock the salvation tenets of His Word.

I think the fact that the average atheist doesnt care at all about the feelings of many Christians exposes their hypocrisy.
The moral standard they consider so valid is nothing more than smoke and mirrors.

Quite ironic that pro-gay-, pro-feminist atheists are more tolerant of a religion that stones homosexuals and kills women accused of adultery.
Here we go again, with the atheist conspiracy theories.
