I don't know how the regions are divvied up per store*. St. Pete is in the Tampa Bay area, Miami could be a separate distribution region (although I'd imagine it'd be fairly common to find in the same aisle as the peanut butter). But even like that, individual stores can carry different items. The Publix closest to my house stopped carrying one of their own brand's flavors of ice cream (Cappuccino Fudge Blitz) but a different Publix a little bit further away has consistently had it in stock.
*I mean, the common grocery stores in the Southeast U.S. are Publix, Winn-Dixie, Sweetbay, Wal-Mart and Target both have larger grocery-equipped Supercenter stores, Sam's Club, and then some smaller stores like Food Lion or convenience stores with small selections of food like Walgreen's or CVS. Each one of them can have different coverage areas.
