If one goes contrary to God's will, how can He work out a situation for them? I only ask this because too often (and I speak from personal experience), people try to excuse their actions as ok and think that "If God wants me to do XYZ, then He'll let me know". The thing is that God has already made His will known, so why should we think that He'll tell us something different?
Clue: All have sinned and fall short......................By looking at the ten commandments some may think they have 1 up on most others.

My thinking only goes into the realm of black and white when it when it comes to truth and error. There are no varying shades of gray in that department. Outside of that I'm a very colorful guy

I don't subscribe to "SDAizm". I subscribe to truth. And the Lord says that He has other sheep that are not of this fold. I believe that was in regards to His true people, who He said would be one fold with Him as the Shepherd. God holds people accountable to the light they have. Some people outside of the SDA church are dearly beloved by God because they are living according to what they know. Others however are spurning truth and are not known of God. If the bible speaks of a remnant who will keep the commandments of God and have the faith of Jesus, shouldn't we look to be apart of that group?

The fact is Stryder, every man has gone contrary to God's will and God does work out our situations.
Your logic sounds right to some people but God send His Son not to the righteous but to save the sinners and the lost.

The fact is Stryder, every man has gone contrary to God's will and God does work out our situations.

My response wasn't about people in general. I know every man has gone contrary to the will of God at some point. That differs from the man who goes contrary to the will because they don't like what has already been established by God.

Ah, and just btw, dont we have so many examples in the bible of people who went contrary to God's will?
Think about David! Think about Abraham! Think about all the others!
All of them made mistakes but it was their faith was not only accepted by God but also rewarded.
I have made many a mistake in my life. Partially because I thought that the SDA is the one and only true church... yet God somehow lead me out... and He is leading me... all I have to do is have faith in Him and believe that He will work things out. Because I have realized that I cannot do nothing by my own...
