| Take It To The Lord - He Can Handle It First thing about prayer is we need to be honest with the Lord about how we feel.
1 Peter 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
Maybe, there are some things we are too ashamed to admit to God. You might as well admit it because He already knows it anyway. If you do not to take it to the Lord in prayer and cast your burden on Him, you are disobeying what the scriptures tell us to do. Moreover, not to carrying your problems to the Lord in prayer will cause you to keep it bottle up inside. That my friends will result in anxiety and more problems. It will become a burden too heavy for you to carry.
Care in this verse means anxiety. Symptoms of anxiety disorder are: Can’t stop worry about health, job, family, money, work or school. Daily life becomes a constant state of worry, fear, and dread. Anxiety can so dominates the person's thinking that it interferes with daily functioning, including work, social activities, and relationships.
Your burden is not too heavy for the Lord to carry. He has already carried that burden to the cross and paid for it. Therefore, whatever your need spiritually or physically take it to the Lord in prayer.
1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
Isaiah 53:5 But he [was] wounded for our transgressions, [he was] bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace [was] upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
If you have ever wondered if God gets tired of you casting your problems on Him, Stop wondering because whatever your problem is, He has already carried it to the cross.
It is disobedient to God when we do not carry our problems to Him because that is the reason Jesus suffered and died on the cross.
It does not matter what it is, take it to the Lord in prayer. Jesus can handle it. You may have doubts, fears, sickness; job problems, take it to the Lord in prayer.
Mark 9:24 And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.
This father had doubts, but he was truthful with Jesus and said Lord I believe help mine unbelief. The father was honest and Jesus healed his son.
Be honest with the Lord about the way you feel, for He careth for you.
Pour your worries and fear out to the Lord like pouring water out of a bottle. And don’t put the water back in the bottle leave it there with the Lord, He can handle it.
