Just as a judge can use a severe countenance in the process of a trial to advantage, even when he knows full well that he is about to administer leniency.

We are exhorted to judge nothing before the time.
We only see in part.
We are reminded how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out. |

I have tried to figure out exactly what this sin is, but it isn't extremely clear in the Bible and looking it up online has only confused me more because everyone seems to have a different opinion.
Anybody else have this fear? How did you get over it? And what really are the chances that I have blasphemed the Holy Spirit in some way without realizing what I was doing? Is this even a reasonable thing to worry about?
If you're worried that you have committed the unpardonable sin, you haven't.

Reps: 10 (power: 0) | | | You cannot commit the unpardonable sin today. You can be in an unpardonable state for constantly rejecting Jesus though.
The Unpardonable Sin is because the religious leaders attributed Jesus' miracles to the enemy. His miracles were from the Holy Spirit not the enemy. Since Jesus is not with us in the flesh today doing His miracles this sin cannot be committed.
Just the fact you are concerned means you are a saved Christian. God Bless. |

Reps: 51,854,522,468,427,816 (power: 51,854,522,468,429) | | I used to agonize and wory that I might have commited this sin. I worried that simply making a sacreligous joke might have damned me to hell. God dispelled those fears.
The Pharesees who accused Jesus of casting out demons by the power of Satan blasphemed the Holy Spirit. I believe that their sin was more than their simple words though; they knew the word of God and yet they rejected his son and spoke evil of him. I believe that those Pharesees had so hardened their hearts to God that they could never repent.
Because you are concerned about this, I DO NOT BELIEVE THAT YOU HAVE COMMITED THE UNPARDONABLE SIN. Had you blasphemed the Holy Spirit, your heart would have been hardened and you would not even worry about this. The devil is trying to use your fear of this to keep you seperated from God. He tried the same lies on me, and it worked for years untill Jesus set me free. The devil is father of lies and will use any deception or fear to keep us from God. If you have accepted Jesus as your savior and confessed your sins to God, you are forgiven! Pray to God to set you free of this fear and lie of the devil!
Please take it from someone who went through the same thing. God loves you and has a plan and purpose for your life, no matter what you have done.

It sounds like you've got a mindful of thoughts crashing together that are causing you to over-analyze your relationships. You need some peace, I'm thinking.
I didn't have SA but I had a lot of anger and learned something that really helped me. I've learned that getting the negative thinking under control helps with a lot of issues.
I don't know if my experience will help you, but I'll be happy to send you more information if you want it.
God bless,
Rod

The only unforgivable sin is blasphemy and that is very difficult to commit. To commit blashpemy, you must totally deny God. |

I now take the viewpoint that dwelling on this issue does not encourage my faith but diminishes it. It is better to concentrate on things that develop faith not fear. |
