Just heard this on a Rick Santorum ad ...
"My name is Rick Santorum and I approved this message ... and any other message which will help defeat Barack Obama."
Weird ... never heard one quite like that before ... maybe new election law or something ...

Reps: 523,171,666,852,122,880 (power: 523,171,666,852,147) | | | Yeah, clever, but it also implies that he approves of anything that takes Obama down whether it is true or if it is stuffed with lies.
It kind of reminds me of these insurance ads running on tv nowadays where the spokesman, the representative of the company, tells outrageous lies to get people to sign up. The lies are somewhat funny, but they're outright, no two ways about it, lies. I don't get how that's a good thing.

If such people were amenable to facts, they would have gotten the point long ago...Whatever it is that is blocking the understanding of the "denialist", it is not access to facts or information. The blockage is most likely emotional, possibly based on fear, and one does not most effectively deal with emotional barriers by using facts as instruments of assault and battery. - Dan Murphy
