Actually it does get better. Soon the Satanic beast of the Revelation will be soundly defeated, and locked away for a thousand years. Then 24 Christian thrones will rule the earth in peace for a thousand years.

A free people cannot exist without morals. It is imperative that moral people guide the country. It is not enough to look Christian, we should influence our society in every aspect, which includes politics.

IMO, the church has allowed the secularist to chain it down through tax exemption.

How involved should Christians be in politics?

One thing I've learned about history is that before the Civil War, the Quakers were more strongly opposed to slavery than any other group. What did they do about it? The Quakers thought that politics was dirty business and they stayed out of it. Most likely a Quaker seeking public office, let alone holding public office, would have been disfellowshipped, thrown out of the Quaker fellowship.

The result? The Quakers strongly opposed slavery in their rhetoric but had little or no effect on public policy. Pennsylavnia, the state with the largest number of Quakers, had barely managed to free the last slave before the Civil War started.

When Christians stay out of politics, evil wins.

Voting is fine but personal responsibility is also needed (buy American, buy organic. )
