That I personally wouldn't know but by the way he is described in the media I would conculde he was very cunning and well calculated. And it sounds like he had a very large EGO, he really believes in himself! |

Unfortunately both faiths have extremist elements which are not representative of the faith as a whole. |

Quite right. The Crusaders for instance: not really representative of Christianity at all. Though they were supported by popes, bishops, priests and told they were going into battle for Christ.
Neither were the Christian owners of slaves, the Protestants and Catholics who slaughtered one another in the 17th Century, the witchfinders who killed helpless old women who knew about herbs, etc etc etc...
