This is the girl I want to marry and be with for the rest of my life and we get along great as if we were made for each other. I know the Bible says that Yoked and Unyoked should not be wed but how can I just break off the wedding for this reason?
I am very afraid that God will punish me in some way or condemn me to hell for not following his every word and choosing my will over his but I love this girl and do not want to hurt her especially in the name of God.
What will happen if I marry her, will God not help keep the marriage together or see the marriage as a sin and condemn me to hell?
Please help, so confused. |

Also, I like your name - more the meaning of it than anything. |

Well, you will be married... so it will apply then.

In the case of this verse, does sanctification means holiness and cleanliness. It seems that being wiped clean is given by Christ. It seems to me that an unbeliever that stays with a believer is made righteous by that act and will go to heaven, because he is wiped clean. Interesting.. m0: Each man must remain in that [a]condition in which he was called.
1 cor 7:20
Following this edict should mean that you are to proceed with the engagement because you were with you during your call to follow Christ.
1 Cor 7:14 encourages that your wife will be wiped cleaned, if you are a believer. a spouse will become holy, if one spouse is already holy.

Whatever you decide, salvation is possible until the very last seconds of your life, according to the thief that was saved on the cross next to jesus.
Trust God to lead you in the right direction by studying the scriptures yourself. Prayer is good, too. There's a prayer request forum that you can go to on here.
