Doing Gods will makes God happy. It is said many times in the Bible.
Doing what Gods wants you to do, and following his orders in your everyday life makes God happy.
Praying and reading and studying the Bible will make you know more about what God wants you to do and how you can follow God and do his will in your everyday life.

God is always happy when we study and devote time to learning and praying. But I think God smiles down on His children as they go about their daily lives, what we think, how we act, how we listen for the leading of the Holy Spirit.

I don't think it is one particular action that makes God happy, but every action that goes into our walk hand in hand with Jesus, led by the Holy Spirit. The walk that when it is all over - we will hear 'WELL DONE MY GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT.'

To expand on what LWB said: Love God with all your heart, all your mind, and all you soul, and love everyone else as you love yourself, SECOND to GOD.

If you accomplish these two, everything else will fall in line.

Be blessed,

Yes, and No, and both are made possible by GOD working in me through the power of HIS Holy Spirit.

I am incapable of doing them on my own.

The only thing I am capable of is listening to the leading of the Holy Spirit as He convicts me of my willfulness. I then have the choice of following the Holy Spirit, or attempting to lead the Holy Spirit.

Once I saw Jesus 'lifted up', I was drawn to HIM and asked HIM into my life as personal Savior and Lord of my life. From that point, HE began working in me, as I let HIM and as I surrendered more and more of myself to HIM.

It is a process of surrender, not an overnight change.

But, again, yes and no. I surrender, GOD makes changes, including giving me unconditional love for HIM and for my fellow mankind.

If you read my profile, you know that I was able to not love unconditionally and now I am able to do so.

Be blessed,
Lee52

Bible

jordano-

Be careful to accept the direction of the Holy Spirit, as only through his guidance, direction, and even his protection can we truly serve God:

So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want. But if you are led by the Spirit. you are not under law.

The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other. (Galatians 5:16-26,NIV)
