Was the church only begun in the new testament? Was it started after the death of Christ? Or was it started after the day of Pentecost? Or was it always there?

Biblicist: Abel was justified by faith and that was way before Pentecost. I'm quite confident that he and all Old Testament saints are part of what the Bible calls "the church of the firstborn" in Hebrews 12:23. |
