Planned Parenthood Pres. Callenged to public debate on taxpayer abortion funding.
Abby Johnson is the former director of a Texas Planned Parenthood who converted to the pro-life position after being asked to participle in an ultrasound-guided abortion. Now she wants to debate the head of the abortion business.
Johnson, the author of a new book "Unplanned" sent a letter to Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards requesting to engage in a public debate on whether the nation’s largest abortion-performing organization should continue receiving taxpayer funding from the federal government. The House of Representatives has already approved the Pence Amendment, which would yank all federal funding from the abortion agency.
“I write to formally challenge you to a public debate, through a mutually agreed upon media forum, on the issue of whether or not Congress should continue to provide taxpayers’ dollars to Planned Parenthood. This issue has received a great deal of media coverage in recent days and weeks,” Johnson opened.
Johnson, in her letter, according to a CNS News report, indicated her participation in a debate would offer a unique perspective “as a former insider who is now here to tell the truth about how Planned Parenthood operates.”
quote from Abby Johnson: Planned Parenthood’s mission, on paper, is to give women quality and affordable health care and to protect women’s rights. In reality, their mission is to increase their abortion numbers and in turn increase their revenue.
If you don't like to see females being killed you should be pro-life. Worldwide, the abortion industry has been the greatest enemy of the female gender in history.
When you get into taxpayer funding, that's where this whole pro-choice thing crosses the line. At that point it's not pro-choice anymore: it's pro-death. I tend to lean toward pro-choice simply on the grounds that the child is not the government's jurisdiction; but this whole taxpayer-funded thing by taxpayers who fundamentally oppose abortion is just despicable.

Aside from (very few) Hyde Amendment exceptions (literally under 100/year) government money doesn't pay for abortions. This is for HEALTH CARE. WOMEN'S REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH CARE. That does not mean abortion. That means pap smears, std screening, pelvic exams, birth control, etc.

How come I get the feeling Abby Johnson would tell you otherwise?
