Over all well, I believe. In the beginning, I was kind of nervous thinking about how stressed out this instructor makes me feel, etc. But then as I got to talking I relaxed. We had some technical problems though - the power point person didn't show up so someone had to fill in at the last minute so not all my slides got shown. The main ones did so I am happy for that. I couldn't get the mic turned on so just took it off to turn it on and then laid it on the metal music stand not realizing that it would cause intereference. And my camera died 2/3 of the way through. We had the church's back up camera going but no one knows how to use it much so it was saved using windows media player instead of on a DVD so hopefully, that will be acceptable for the college.
The main points were caught though and that is that we can no longer have an Us vs Them mentality when it comes to viewing others around us. This was seen in the 10 assessments that were handed in [part of my homework is to summarize the assessments]. People were all over in their opinions but when it came to the conclusion, they all seemed to have got it.
Several people commented to me later that they enjoyed it and one lady asked me for specific ideas on what she can do. So how ever much my instructor will deduct point cuz she likes doing that...it is still enjoyable seeing that at least 14 people [about 10%] that I personally know of definitely had something to take away with them at the end of the sermon.

We do have a great group but our faith is too big and too important to be hidden from the world. We must not be so selfish to enjoy our freedom in obscurity and comfort while others need our fellowship of Christ. We need to break out like the church did at Pentecost when all those people were added to the church. I am not lecturing you as I know you feel the same way. |

Which is why I spent the day after worship at two different hospitals visiting, and the evening with a group of youth picking up their friends and going out for DQ before finally getting on the computer late. Even then, the first places I visited were websites where I regularly converse with Muslims (and a couple of atheist hanger-ons) about the Gospel. |

Glad it went well (technology aside)

Certainly. My heart and sympathies are with her. I know how that feels from personal experience. |

I'll pray for her. I know how close one can become to a pet. Even though they may not be as precious as family; sometimes family members are not part of our day to day life, but a pet is a constant companion, that is acutely missed.

So far today, we have had only 4 participants and two of these have been I the Gadfly, one Mode and few others. We need to pray and do something to invite others to our threads. I know Christ is more appealing than this and the W.P. should be sparkling with excitement. It is now 4:22 PM, EST.
