He clearly said on Sid Roth, that an earthquake, is going to cut the US in half, in the next 24 months. He is a grown man, and responsible for his words. There was zero confusion, that is just what he meant.

I agee, even the San Fran, was tiny, in comparison to his claim, of America actually being torn down the middle. These fellows need to be a little more careful, in their "prophecies". I am suprised how Sid just sat there and ate all this up, but then again, sadly, every time there is someone on his show, they are bragging about some third heaven experience, or something like that. Paul was reticent to even speak of it, and said he was not permitted to speak about what he heard.

I dunno, seems like things are getting out of hand. Sid means well, but maybe he should put the brakes on a little.

Well, we are talking about America being ripped in half, not just one American city. I mean, do we realize the ramifications of this? Millions dead, pipe lines and power lines down, fires, bridges collapsing, countless buildings down, highways in rambles, criminals on the loose, this would make 911, look like nothing.

This statement applies to the entire hyper-prophetic movement IMO. Prophecy is the most wonderful gift of the spirit and also the most dangerous if abused -- since the person claims to be speaking for God Himself.

I am starting to think I'd rather than be in a church that does not believe in modern prophecy than in a hyper prophetic church due to the extreme abuses that are occurring these days in that movement.

According to scientists working for the U.S. Government , an extremely large earthquake in the new madrid seismic zone is going to happen. It is not a matter of if but rather when.

Alabama

The known seismic history of Alabama spans about 100 years for local earthquakes. For shocks outside the State borders that caused damaged to cities in Alabama, the history can be traced to 1811 - 1812, when three great (estimated magnitude 8 or greater on the Richter scale) earthquakes centered in Missouri may have reached intensity VII in the northern and/or central sections. The earthquake is expected to also result in many thousands of fatalities, with more than 4,000 of the fatalities expected in Memphis alone.

According to some scientists, however, that is nothing compared to what an 8.0 earthquake could do to the New Madrid Region. An earthquake of that size on the New Madrid Fault would destroy 60 percent of Memphis, killing tens of thousands and causing over $50 billion dollars in property damage in the city alone .
The potential for the recurrence of large earthquakes and their impact today on densely populated cities in and around the seismic zone has generated much research devoted to understanding in the New Madrid Seismic Zone. By studying evidence of past quakes and closely monitoring ground motion and current earthquake activity, scientists attempt to understand their causes and recurrence intervals.

The Virtual Times: The New Madrid Earthquake

The recent earthquake which struck Kobe, Japan, resulted in the loss of over 5000 lives and millions of dollars in property. However, large parts of the United States are also subject to large magnitude quakes - quakes which could be far more powerful than the Kobe quake! Although we tend to think of California and Alaska as the places where most of our earthquakes occur, the fact is that the central U.S. has been the site of some very powerful earthquakes.

In the past three centuries, major earthquakes outside of California and Alaska generally occurred in sparsely-settled areas, and damage and fatalities were largely minimal. But some took place in areas that have since been heavily built up. Among them are three earthquakes that occurred in 1811 and 1812 near New Madrid, MO. They are among the Great earthquakes of known history, affecting the topography more than any other earthquake on the North American continent. Judging from their effects, they were of a magnitude of 8.0 or higher on the Richter Scale. They were felt over the entire United States outside of the Pacific coast. Large areas sank into the earth, new lakes were formed, the course of the Mississippi River was changed, and forests were destroyed over an area of 150,000 acres. Many houses at New Madrid were thrown down. "Houses, gardens, and fields were swallowed up" one source notes. But fatalities and damage were low, because the area was sparsely settled then.

The probability for an earthquake of magnitude 6.0 or greater is significant in the near future, with a 50% chance by the year 2000 and a 90% chance by the year 2040. A quake with a magnitude equal to that of the 1811- 1812 quakes could result in great loss of life and property damage in the billions of dollars. Scientists believe we could be overdue for a large earthquake and through research and public awareness may be able to prevent such losses.

A huge earthquake in The New madrid seismic zone which would result in the worst natural diaster in U.S. history is predicted to happen at some point. The only question is when which is impossible for scientists to know. They assign probabilities and make educated guesses based upon the data available.

John Kilpatrick had a vision of an earthquake , April 27, 2008. He also had a dream about an earthquake , May 20 , 2008. There was no time frame set.
Also interpretations of this vision and dream vary depending upon who the one is putting their spin upon it.

I do not want to come across as an alarmist concerning what I saw. I also don't want to put fear in the public or the Body of Christ. However, I cannot help but feel that God gave me this as warning to prepare us for the days ahead and to pray concerning this matter.

In this dream I knew I was experiencing a massive earthquake. The sounds were so catastrophic that the thought crossed my mind that the devastation could likely exceed Hurricane Katrina of 2005. I did not see the devastation behind me; I only heard it. In all of my life I have never heard such catastrophic sounds. These were the scariest sounds I have ever heard.

The dream then shifted once more and concluded with two names on what appeared to be an old Spanish map. One name read Indianola and the other Europa. When I awoke, I was shaking as if I had chills and a fever. I could not stop trembling. All through the day I felt as if I had just had the dream 10 minutes ago.

This dream so shook me that my wife and I immediately went to the internet to do some research. I also contacted some close friends in the ministry and reliable intercessors concerning this dream. What we found was startling. There are towns called Indianola, IL; Europa, MO; and Indianola, MS. These towns run in a line from North to South with Europa, MO being near the middle of them. The Mississippi River runs between them with Europa, MO being by the epicenter of the New Madrid fault.

After seeing this, I believe the dream could be concerning a devastating earthquake on the New Madrid fault. Many reputable friends in ministry have felt that this dream was not to be interpreted as a spiritual dream because they felt that it has literal implications. Even now the intensity of this dream is the same.

John Kilpatrick differentiates between what The Lord showed him and his interpretation of it and the intepretation/speculation of others including Sid Roth. That distinction apparently escapes you. This is also one of the problems with taking soundbites and opinions off of second hand sources. There are lots of people out there who have various intepretations and spins on the dream and word that John Kilpatirck had. Sid Roth tends to lean towards the dramatic. Obviously , Pastor Kilpatrick made the decision to go public with his vision and dream and felt that it is an important message from God. His admonishment was to pray about it and hear from the Lord as to the exact meaning of it.

Apparently the confusion level for you exceeded zero.

Paying careful attention to the distinction made between what is people's commentary and speculation about a prophetic word and what is actually the prophetic word is obviously not your forte. Words like "I believe" and "I feel " , "maybe", "probably". These are key words in that regard. You may want to work on that a bit before accusing Minsitries of falsehood. Ironically , you end up being the one guilty of falsehood espeacially when your posts do not include those same sorts of words , I believe he meant this, maybe he meant that , etc..

You are misrepresenting what was said and reporting that as fact. The truth is that men like John Kilpatrick are very careful about what they say. That tends to come with decades of experience in the national spotlight. A little more intellectual integrity and diligence in your posts would be aprreaciated. You are not working for a tabloid trying to sell magazines with sensational headlines , are you ? Some of us know the people involved personally and do not appreaciate what basically ends up being falsehoods posted about them. When you do so , the confusion level far exceeds zero.

The phrase three years was used on the program where Sid Roth interviewed John Kilpatrick. The key component of that phrase was "I believe it will be in the next three years ". The phrase our land will be divided was also used but was not defined in the way it is being interpreted on this thread.
