They are propaganda clearly since only the ones that were pro-American were selected. If they had taken an even sampling of all comments made about the invasion then it wouldn't be propaganda. However they didn't. Just because it is propaganda doesn't make it any less true though.

I wouldn't exactly call it propaganda, per se ... but it is quote-mining, which is frowned upon for a reason. Be serious now, you wouldn't be swayed much by 100 Voices of Communism or something similar, right?
I don't doubt that the quotes listed are genuine, but there is not a single link to the articles that contains them. I'm sure at least some those articles, like every other news peice I've read from the perspective of Iraqi's, would contain quotes that are negative on recent events in Iraq as well.

Reps: 3,265 (power: 16) | | | I just saw another one, but still no article on the net yet, it said it was the first rally of it's kind, that their were 3 of them which included every ethnicity and political stripe in Iraq and that thousands took to the streets of Baghdad calling for Security, anti terrorism, pro democracy, freedom, rebuilding .
It's the first large scale diminstration of free speech that the Iraqis have ever had.

I do , I remember quite well Cheney coming on, and trying to scare Americans to death, telling them to watch out, the next attack was coming. He had nothing to go on, just hunches that it would happen again, great make everyone move into their basments because of speculation.
