Marriage query

I see. Well personally, I would not date anyone old enough to be my own mother. I find such would not be a good idea. (I know given the counter-arguments of the opposite in the other thread....still, with the situation reversed, I do not think it wise, prudent, nor advisable.)

It's actually become kind of a trend in recent years, probably because Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher married and sort of brought the idea of older woman-younger man into a more public spotlight due to their celebrity.

Like I said about the reverse situation in the other thread, I think people can decide for themselves what is best for them. It seems a bit odd on the surface of things, but, you know, every individual is different, and everyone has different circumstances, and if two adults think they've found a good situation and true love, who are we to judge? Maybe they know themselves better than we do. Even if they wind up being wrong, it's their mistake to make. And I think for some people it could wind up being a good decision.

Obviously I mean where there is a large age gap. A few years either way doesn't even seem odd to me. It's just the normal way of things. Saying a man has to be a few years older than a woman in a marriage is pretty arbitrary.
