quick question

everytime i went on the christian path, i'm always pulled away by the number of people that don't believe. it pains me deeply to think of these people in hell. i guess my question is simple, all of these people, they know, don't they? They have to know God is real.

Yes, they know but they have exchanged that truth for a lie (see Romans 1:25).

The example is to simply observe the world around you.

Romans 1:20 - For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse.
