Being baptized & so many forms of Christianity? (2 questions)

Being baptized:
So from what Ive read, you must be born again to enter the kingdom of God. So if you havent been baptized, I assume you go to hell. With this said, my daughter is 3 - is there an "age" she must be baptized at? Can I baptize her myself in the name of Christ, or must it be done by an ordained minister?

Another question, why so many forms of Christianity?
Jehovahs, from my understanding believe satan was cast out in 1914 (BS)... Mormons believe sacred scrolls were given in the 1800s, and catholics pray to too many people. Then again, theres so many denominations of Christianity. With those, and Jehovahs, Lutherans, Christians, Catholics, and sub groups within - are we all "OK" because we have the primary similar beliefs (that Jesus is the Son of God)? Are the other differences, just minor differences that were to ignore until we pass away?

I already understand the consiquences for hell bound religions (Jews, Muslims, etc), but Question 2 I guess was a question more directed to those whom believe in the Trinity but had differences.

I do not believe there is warrant from Scripture to argue that lack of baptism consigns one to eternal damnation.

I view baptism is an outward expression as a sign and seal of the covenant of grace between God and man.

While it is a sin to neglect the ordinance of Baptism (see Luke 7:30), it is my view and the view of all Protestants, that baptism has no salvific properties. There are saved and lost persons that have been baptized as there are saved and lost persons who have not!

The wide variety of Christian denominations is the result of the noetic effects of sin from the fall of Adam. We now see through a glass darkly, thus, there will be disagreement among the faithful about what they believe Scripture teaches.

Hmmm.... then how do you view this quote????

"John 3:5, where Jesus says, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.""

Doesn't that clearly state "Unless your baptised, you cannot enter the kingdom of God - hence, damnation? I don't think it coul dbe anymore clear that that

Water here means the inward purification and invigoration which is produced by the Holy Spirit.

The AAC forum is not set up for debate. If you would like to discuss the topic more please post to one of our theological threads.
