This November will be four years since my uncle died. I know four years seems like a long time, but it hurts a lot.
It feels like he just died even though it was a long time ago.
I guess I kinda blocked the whole thing out for such a long time.
He was my favorite person in the entire world.
I rarely ever got to see him because of my mom, but he was still my favorite person in the entire world.
I miss him a lot and it makes me really really sad. 
When I went to my Grandma's house this summer, I went in his room he had lived in (my grandma has not moved stuff from the room) and there was something on his dresser that me and my sister had made for him when we were little.
I really wish he could be alive. He was so cool and wonderful. |

I'm sorry, sweetie, it's hard losing someone special, and the pain doesn't just go away, even though people expect you to 'get over it'
One thing that sometimes helps a little is to make a memory book - stick in photos, pictures of things you associate with the person,writing about your memories of him, anything that helps you to remember the good times you had with him.
