I noted an interesting observation - I was prompted to wait a day to post the study/encouragement/Word post - LOL - whatever it ought to be called - today instead of yesterday. I had no idea we were about to start a new thread. Maybe the LORD wanted what He puts on my heart to share this week to be on the first page of the new thread. At any rate, here it is!

I first want to say how MUCH I love you! You two are such a joy to see, always encouraging me in my walk with the LORD, and building my faith in Him with the scriptures you share, your love, and prayers. And not only you two, but Irene, nml, Ken, wt, ps.91, our new friend, gl, seekinghim, Ani, and visitors we've had in the past. May the Lord cause you to abound more and more in love as you increase in the knowledge of the love of God yourselves.

Cindy, isn't it remarkable how this thread has developed? Originally, you were just seeking a way to keep up with some of your friends despite a computer glitch that was preventing you from logging onto their posts, so the Lord had you create your own, and now look at it: All of this has come from that... Apparantly God uses even our own littlest efforts, things that we sometimes don't even think about to bring Himself much glory and honor. You had no idea this thread would turn out the way it did, and that could be an indication of what God has in store for it/us/you in posts/things to come...

Okay, enough of that sentimental stuff that isn't from the Bible... I feel it strongly within my spirit to share a few verses from the Bible's longest chapter: Psalms 119.

(Vs 1-2) Blessed are the undefiled in the way, [Jesus Christ is the way the truth and the life] who walk in the Lord. Blessed are they that keep his testimony [for the testimony of Jesus Christ is the spirit of what? Rev 19:10]

Vs 17-18: Deal bountifully with thy humble servant, that [we] may live and keep your word! Open our eyes that we may behold wondrous things...

Vs. 31: I have stuck unto thy testimonies: O Lord, put me not to shame.

Vs. 36, 38: Incline my heart unto thy testimonies, and not to covetness. Establish thy word unto thy servant, who is devoted to thy fear. [The fear of the Lord is the beginning of what? Prov. 1:7]

vs 50: This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened me.

vs 74: They that fear thee will be glad when they see me, because I have hoped in thy word. [In the beginning was the Word, and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us right?]

vs 105: Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. [Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding, in all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths (light helps...) Prov 3:5-6 And We are the light of the world Matt 5:14]

Vs 133: Order my steps in thy word, and let not iniquity have dominion over me.

Vs. 144: The righteousness of thy testimonies is everlasting, give me understanding and I shall live.

Vs 170: Let my supplication come before thee: deliver me according to thy word

I don't know why, but I think vs 74 is specifically for you Cindy. But don't take my word for it, just allow His Holy Spirit to minister to you according to His word.

I have a lady on Facebook, Brenda who has been diagnosed with lung cancer. I told her I would get her in prayer and she agreed to it. She is a minimal believer.
Please stand in the gap for her.

LOL you know me too well! I am all caught up but don't have time to respond in any depth. There is a LOT going on around us.

Cindy - praying for healing and peace for your sister and her family.

Irene - you are in my prayers regarding Ray (right?) and yourself.

Watchtower - Still praying about the car and life situations in general for you - I trust a breakthrough is on the brink...I know the Lord is speaking to you and helping you know what you need to do! Praise Him!

KenBlaster - Praying that the house is calm, things are peaceful, and life is without too many bumps for a while and you are able to immerse yourself in Him and find a home church to fellowship in which you will feel loved, accepted, and welcome at all times for who you are.

HeisGood - He is, isn't he! I would love to hear some more music. Praying the Lord is keeping you safe and your music alive.

GreatlyLoved - Praying for you sis for clear direction from the Lord and financial blessing and peace.

Hey everyone! Remember last week I was feeling pretty unappreciated by the boss (among other things)? That hasn't changed, BUT I've been getting little gifts here from one of our clients. She'd been into the office because her boyfriend who she had been taking care of passed away. Last week, she gave me a huge honeycrisp apple in a gift bag, "Because you were so nice." Today I received a lovely raspberry white chocolate scone and a couple of cookies. Besides being from my absolute favorite place in town, the scone was the flavor I always get myself when I buy them and this woman had only seen me a couple of times so she had no way of knowing that.

Wasn't it nice of God to give her the idea to do this? She had no idea I've been bummed.

I think it is awesome that He would go out of His way to make me feel appreciated and better about things. Nice that not only is there nothing too big for Him, but there is also nothing too small for Him to care about.
